The Big Bad Wolf
(B.B. Wolf)
Many different versions of the Big Bad Wolf, designed to suit the needs of the moment. In 1949's The Windblown Hare, a blustery wolf tries following along with the story in a book, but struggles with his line readings.
Freleng created a wolf with short-term memory problems in Red Riding Hoodwinked. This wolf was redrawn and dubbed “Charles M. Wolf” for Hare-less Wolf in 1958.
McKimson created a recurring version of the wolf with a nephew starting with The Turn-Tale Wolf, but redrew both characters completely for Now Hare This and False Hare.
