Babbitt and Catstello

Characters based on the comedy duo Abbott and Costello. Their debut was as cats in Tweety Bird’s first cartoon, Bob Clampett’s A Tale of Two Kitties. They returned as a pair of mice in Frank Tashlin’s Tale of Two Mice. McKimson used the mice in The Mouse-Merized Cat, and turned them into dogs for a brief bit in Hollywood Canine Canteen.
